Love and enthusiasm for drawing and painting are the only requirements for participation in the Summer Academy. Enjoy a very special opportunity to learn and exchange views about technique, art and culture in the inspiring atmosphere of the castle and its gallery, located in the picturesque foothills of the Alps.

In individualised courses, you will have the opportunity to learn the fundamental techniques used in graphic painting or to expand your already-existing knowledge. Exercises depicting objects and the careful use of colour are central to instruction at the academy.

Friedrich Hechelmann guides participants in feedback and improvement sessions throughout the entire duration of the course. Basic and advanced courses are conducted in parallel and are taught separately. Enjoy an intensive, fruitful experience filled with art and surrounded by other art enthusiasts at the summer academy.

Courses are limited to ten participants each. Participants enjoy unlimited access to the Castle gallery throughout the duration of the course.
